How to Burlesque - Intensive I : Break into the Bump and Grind!
Give me 12 weeks, and I'll help you learn to channel your inner glamazon, gain confidence in your body and your personal expression, unleash your creativity, and make some of the best friends you'll ever meet!
In this intensive course, you will learn all the skills and techniques needed to get started on stage in just one series. This is the most important course to take to get a solid basis for solo burlesque performance!
By the time you finish this course, you will have a strong foundation in burlesque movement, a solid stage persona, and the ability to fully engage your audience while telling your story through burlesque striptease. You'll know secrets to taking it off gracefully without tripping on your frilly nothings, how to incorporate props into your act (including using your clothing as props and twirling nipple tassels), you'll have created signature moves, learned how to invent your own dance moves for the stage, and so much more!

* DIY "No Sew" Costume Design - Whether or not you know how to sew, using these techniques you will be able to create costumes that rival many of the local pros who've been performing for years!
* Makeup for the Burlesque Stage - Learn how to create your own sparkly and fabulously dramatic burlesque look. We'll cover the basics plus many great tips that even seasoned performers find exciting and new!
* Basic performer marketing and how to get gigs!

We have many performers who've been performing with us for years, and you will also receive performer calls for additional performance opportunities with other producers I work with.
